Lima-Nazca Express – 4 Days – 3 Nights

The Lima-Nazca Express tour is a 4 days trip which will reveal the beauty of the enchanting Museo Larco in Lima, its arid and pristine desert along the Carretera Panamericana, the Ballestas Islands in Paracas and the unique Huacachina Oasis in Ica. But this tour will also reveal the secrets and the mysteries of the Paracas and Nazca cultures who created of the enigmatic Nazca Lines.
Day 3. The mysterious Nazca Lines The Lima-Nazca Express tour will showcase Nazca and its various cultural sites. Early morning, the trip begins with a couple of hours travel to Nazca. On arrival you can decide to take a flight over the Nazca Lines (optional) or start with the visit of the very interesting Museo Antonini. Here, you will learn about the Nazca and Paracas cultures and will admire a pre-Columbian aqueduct running through the back garden of the Museum, as well as a scale model of the Nazca Lines. The tour continues with a visit to the viewpoint to observe a portion of the Lines: the lizard, the tree, and the hands. Then, it is time to visit Nazca’s nearby sites. First, the Cantallo Acueducto (Paracas culture) just outside town. Next, the excursion to the Cementerio de Chauchilla, where bones, skulls, and mummies are displayed.
